Have forgotten what it means to be human or hungry for the most part, or they believe they can just buy their way out of any situation.
Buuutttt...
They never think there's ever going to be a time where all their money or stuff isn't going to mean anything. They've forgotten how economics really work.
When the majority of people, including their servant class, can no longer buy anything of worth; when farms and other productive businesses cease to function because those who "own" the means of production (or the debt owed on those businesses and farms) think it's stupid to pay anyone to do the work required to do production, or that labor should be a sacrifice made on the alters of monied greatness and power.
Money, especially crypto, isn't edible.
And most people don't like watching their families and friends die from starvation, or lack of health care or shelter, because a small group of wealthy twits (who don't understand or respect Maslow's hierarchy of needs) think they're just all that in a bag of of shit.
They going to find out, when there's nothing to eat, their soft arrogant hides look pretty damn tasty. And so long as you have become too rich to take care of yourselves, there's really no where to get away and hide.
I can survive at least a few months in the wilderness. Can Eloon or MarkyZ, or St. Peter the Antichrist?
