7. The question and burns me more is why isn't everyone focused on the very high disapproval numbers?

Disapproval over 50%, especially with most of those being strongly disapprove" is fundamentally not consistent with a properly functioning democracy. I've never seen this level of sustained disapproval, and even bewilderment at just wtf is going on.

The white collar workplace has always been a place where people avoid politics, and when it does come up, it's filled with polite deference to views on the opposite side of the aisle. Not anymore. Where I work, people openly talk about what a ridiculous governmental environment he has created, how impossible it is to plan or predict because of him, how we all need exit plans and which countries are people getting dual citizenship in, etc.

This guy is wildly unpopular but the medua talks instead about the approval numbers as if slight above 40% vs in the 30s vs even the low 30% are somehow the important and relevant numbers.


I'm sick of the media focusing on how the minority of Americans who are magats feel. They need to start paying attention to the very, very pissed off majority.
