___Over the course of roughly two days, the senator changed his position on the status of U. S. operations in Iran four times. In one appearance he said, "We are not at war with Iran. " Hours later, while defending the administrations military offensive, he said, "War is ugly. It smells bad. And if anybodys ever been there and been able to smell the war thats happened around you and taste it and fill it in your nostrils and hear it, its something that youll never forget." A subsequent interview saw him call the situation "isn't a war," and later, speaking to reporters on Capitol Hill, he alternated between calling the crisis a "war" and insisting that a previous remark was "a misspoke. "

___Marcuswayne our U.S. senator who, like me, was neither brave nor disciplined enough to serve in the military got lit up on left-wing social media after hopping on Fox News and attempting to mansplain the smells, tastes, and general horrors of war, as if hed personally stormed a beach somewhere.
Mullin: War is ugly. It smells bad. If anybody has ever been there and been able to smell the war and taste it and fill it in your nostrils and hear it, it's something that you'll never forget. Fortunately, we have President Hegseth. President Hegseth has been there. pic.twitter.com/9bWtlXOjqy

___Hey @SenMullin, what the actual f are you talking about? Did I miss the part of your bio where you served in combat (or served in uniform at all??). Call of Duty doesnt count, Pat Ryan said in a post on X Monday evening.
I served two combat tours in Iraq. Ive seen what happens when a lying, chicken-hawk President beats the war drums. I ran for Congress and serve on the Armed Services Committee because I refuse to let the country I love repeat those mistakes, Ryan said in a post on X Saturday.
Its why we passed the War Powers Act (after Vietnam) in the first place. So that before the President sends our troops into harms way, he has to make his case TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE, he added.

Yep, good old Marcuswayne Mullin, who hopped on live TV to talk about the smells of war. Based on his experience being around gunfire, I assume it smells like shit.
Marcuswaynes comments ignited like napalm in the left-wing political propaganda sphere, with assorted blue-check accounts quickly pointing out that he has never served in the armed forces or experienced combat, and was therefore describing war the same way a kid describes dinosaurs.
