American males share this person's (I won't write man, because real men don't act this way) views. Unfortunately, I was raised in this culture although my own father, right wing though he was, did not believe or act aggressively towards women and certainly never struck my mother, nevertheless, I grew up in the suffocating world created by James Dobson, R.J. Rushdoony, Jerry Falwell and their ilk.

There is a new movement within the Fundamentalist sub-culture that is promoting the necessity of "spanking" your wife. Yes, even some Christian magazines have wrote about it -- while, in a very soft way, condemning it.

If you can handle the disgusting images and texts, Google it. Some really think this way and many wish it were safe to. Christian "Nationalism" is making it safer socially and politically.

Without this third of authoritarian, controlling males and some female codependents, Trump's rise would not have been possible.
