If anybody finds comfort in prayer, meditation, yoga or anything else that hurts nobody else, I support that 100%. But it is not a substitute for action and we cannot accept that, especially considering that the people suggesting nothing but thoughts and prayers are usually closer to the anti-Christ than the Christ.

My personal beliefs continue to evolve as we take tiny steps toward understanding little bits of the universe. My own philosophy does not include guardian angels and heavenly prayer minders, but the universe is vast, and we barely understand any of it. So I cannot criticize anybody else for how they think about the universe. Nonetheless, I will never accept a solution that is nothing but thoughts and prayers., and no actions in the here and now.
