I’m not sure what is so hard about getting proof of citizenship considering Real ID is a requirement now to commercially fly… as it validates your citizenship since you’ve already done all the gathering of your paperwork. Same with a passport…I know not everyone has one, but if a person needed to get a passport, they’d manage to assemble the documents needed.

If someone has been married/divorced multiple times, I tend to think they would know they need to keep all their records for future needs.

Again, I’m against the voter ID requirement because the fraud the repubs continue to fabricate is just a means to an end which they shouldn’t be allowed to push through. I’m of the opinion though, that in the world today, it behooves everyone to have proof of citizenship for your personal safety since even US citizens are getting deported!

Are there statics on Real ID percent compliance by state? Overall, it seems to be 60% but varies wildly state by state. State statics would be interesting to have…
