In reply to the discussion: Senator Fetterman supports the GOP voting ID law just passed in House [View all]BlueKota
(5,166 posts)55. I just tried to watch an interview with him on
something called the Conversation his answers to the interviewer's questions were basically incoherent. When she sought clarification his answers still didn't make sense. I think you're right that his stroke affected his rationality and ability to speak without wandering away from his subject. His cognitive issues seemed to me to be almost as bad as tsf's.
I feel sad for him about his illness, but it's too bad he can't be replaced with another Democrat before 2028.

OP
If they get this passed, there will be no more elections, he'll be a Senator for life.

I cannot imagine. I was excited that you were successful. I'm sorry that happened to you.

They want to chip everyone and have GPS monitoring. No need for papers. Kooky? Well.

Like Manchin he's a dem who holds a Dem seat. That's important. He just happens to vote with Republicans

Lots of folks here argue that "we need to elect moderates." He's a moderate.

The only silver lining is that Fetterman's term is a little more than half over

As someone who supported him financially in 2022, I'm very disappointed in him.
