Yes, there may be some people who didn't participate in abuse or who didn't intentionally support or associate with Epstein and his worst activities. And perhaps the attention on them has been negative for them. The 'blast radius' has had collateral damage, he says, resulting in unfairness (shades of his comments on Me Too).

Like some others in the media, he tends to spend a lot of time making sure comments are balanced in some way...ultimately missing the big picture.
