That's going to be the inevitable consequence of unqualified people using AI to solve problems that require actual intelligence to solve.

I think Microsoft is at the end of their rope. All they have left to sell is empty promises. They might not make the leap into the Next Big Thing in computing, whatever that is, so of course people are going to be laid off.

What's now being promoted as "Artificial Intelligence" is not that Next Big Thing.
