156. This is why the Epstein-ICE melodramas are so terrible for us all

Our leaders need to be focused on this AI stuff. This is job one.

We need to make sure that there is a path to AI use that lifts all boats. It's not going to happen if we just sit around and complain and freeze up.

Folks who think they're above the water line because they are retired or aren't white collar need to think again. Social Security checks come primarily from taxes on working people. The trades are currently somewhat less reachable by AI. But people who are now white collar will start to look for trades jobs.

We were already in a really bad place thanks to automation. AI is our Aqua Velva slap in the face. I really think we can make this the ultimate improvement in work-life balance. We can let the robots be robots for a change, instead of making us humans have to be. But we need to focus. All these dramatic subjects that are pleasing us (Epstein, Nazis, ICE) are hurting us somehow. (Thanks, Eagles)
