Nobody should have to face that. OTOH, I would wager his family isn't destitute. They appear to have a sweet property in a desirable location
At any rate, I'd rather direct my $ to ICE victims and such. This isn't meant to down play his family's situation. Just a reality check. I'll acknowledge I may be wrong about this - they could be in dire straits. Last year we found out verifiably-not-poor-at-all people were going to our local food pantry (for the deals).
