you know, when America was Great, I’ve seen a lot of things.
But I NEVER saw what we’re seeing in our cities and towns, as armed mobs are out kidnapping people and stomping on their Civil Rights, pretending to be legitimate.
What we’re seeing now is not the road to our Greatness, but another detour around our Constitutional Freedoms on our way to an Authoritarian Nightmare..
Our “Greatness” is largely based on being “Fortunate” in SO MANY ways, and, like so many of the fortunate, we forget ourselves and believe instead that we are the authors of our Fortune, forgetting that the manual labor that built most of what we see was done by the most marginalized of our population, immigrants and slaves. So, now, the task is to rub out the truth and claim it to be the legacy of a White Christian Man-o-sphere bedazzling the World with its Brilliance.
