Kash Patel has completely botched the Nancy Guthrie case and this is why... [View all]

This morning, we finally get video of Nancy Guthrie's kidnapper. This comes TEN DAYS after she was kidnapped. And, we're told that this is "residual data" located in the back end of the Ring camera system. I'm calling BULLSHIT. I have a competing camera system. I have, from time to time, allowed my subscription to briefly lapse. When I have renewed my subscription, several days worth of prior video have instantly been made available to me. The fact of the matter is that these camera systems are ALL taping everything - regardless of whether or not you pay your subscription. As long as it's plugged in and connected to a functioning router and modem, it's transmitting data. As a result, the video we're all now seeing was almost certainly available to the FBI for several days now. Law enforcement in this case appears to have been more concerned with the public knowing the extent to which we are all surveilling each other with our camera systems than they were with providing information to the public that might allow them to assist in finding the perpetrator in this case. Personally, I was already disturbed by how this case was being handled. Now, I'm just downright pissed.
