Trump Denies Using DOJ For Revenge, But Adds: 'Wouldn't I Have A Right To?'

President Donald Trump suggested Thursday he could justify weaponizing the Department of Justice for his own ends.

Speaking at the National Prayer Breakfast, the president denied using Attorney General Pam Bondi's department for revenge.

Ventriloquizing his critics, Trump said: "They say, 'Donald Trump is using the Justice Department to get even,' And I don't. But wouldn't I have a right to? There's never been in history a president treated like I got treated."

The president added he and Bondi "do what's right."
