I said - I don't care who anyone is - AND IF - IF they are involved.

IF.

My comment was expressing the categorical rejection of anyone - ANYONE (and not a name) being able to improve their reputation IF they were involved.

But, for some reason, people have decided on their own that I am accusing Bill Gates.

That being the case, they'll need to have that argument with themselves.

Just because the OP mentioned Gates does NOT mean I was accusing Gates.

My very first reply is directed at the idea of being able to repair their reputations IF they are involved.
