8. I got a new shoulder after going headfirst down a flight of stairs

I was at the top of the stairs leading to the basement when my left leg went out and away I went. Fortunately, I had thrown down several cardboard boxes earlier that day and they prevented my head from slamming directly on to the cement floor but didn’t save my left shoulder.
