If we lived in a civilized society where industrialization hadn’t gone in this direction, I could have envisioned AI that didn’t suck.

I worry sometimes that the wrong things are conflated with the real issue. It is not science, modernity, the nuclear family, women’s rights etc that are the issue. I sometimes worry that the backlash will yet again go in all the wrong directions and absorb JD Vance’s pronatalism into an argument for a post modern society.

It’s what these creeps have made of them.
