Showing Original Post only (View all)The Shallow State: Last night, our President "had a hypomanic episode borne of narcissistic rage" [View all]
Yesterday evening, Trump had a hypomanic episode borne of narcissistic rage. He made post after post after post. Short posts. Reposts. Hundreds of them. His gut was a simmering stew of agitation and desperation. His malignant pathologies rule him, projecting his malice outwardly.
What drives that malice, is fear. Fear of losing. Fear of being unable to influence the narrative. Fear of constraint. Fear of losing his self-concocted aura of grandiosity. Fear of exposure of a lifetime of secrets and lies. Paranoid rear. Parasitic fear. Fear of humiliation.
By any objective psychological or pathological standard, he's ill. But he has NEW fears now beyond pathology - losing his physical health, and his acuity. He hates himself for it; for showing limitations.
Neither you nor I can EVER feel the kind of desperation and rage Trump feels now. Because you and I are members of society and all its relationships and interactions, and we boast a full emotional spectrum. Not Trump. He is the entirety of his universe. He doesn't partake in events; he profits from transactions. He doesn't interact with others, he lords over others as if they were objects.
This is a man now terrified that all that he is, and all that he ever said he was - his entire lifetime of false constructs - is crumbling into the ash of a fake myth.
This is a rage-filled malignant narcissist -- in deep decline.

It's time to take actions to protect our Republic...
It feels like we're approaching a breaking point.
