General Discussion

dinner. It was a fabulous meal. If I could post pictures of what we were served I would, so to compare with that shite that was served at Mar-a-Lago.

We had appetizers and cocktails, first. I had quiche, Brie w/crackers, crusty bread with spinach dip, and mozzarella wrapped in prosciutto along with homemade sangria. Didn’t have much of each so as not to spoil my appetite.

1st course was shrimp cocktail. 2nd course was spinach salad with glazed walnuts and goat cheese.

Main course was turkey and you had your choice of white, dark, or mixed. For sides, I chose cornbread stuffing with cranberries and sausage, sweet potato soufflé, brussel sprouts in a Gorgonzola sauce and broccoli salad. I skipped the mashed potatoes and the sautéed pearl onions. You could also get seconds.

Cranberry sauce and rolls were on the table.

Dessert was pumpkin cheese cake, pumpkin pie, pumpkin mousse and pecan pie. I had the mousse and pecan pie.

That plate at M-A-L looks pathetic.
