Cantaloupe Caligula the Corpulent has the…charisma…of your typical cult leader, just like the ones you named. Good thing about cults is that they tend to die off after the “leader” dies, etc. The leader’s lieutenants can’t hold it together, and the worms go back into hiding.

The ideas behind the cult don’t die, obviously, or the Nazis wouldn’t still be around. But there’s no cohesion between the subgroups of the main group.

In this case, there’s no way Vance or any of the other assholes could keep this together. Vance, for instance, has all the charisma of your average parasitic worm, but with less usefulness. Charlie Kirk might have been able to pull it all together, but fortunately, we won’t ever have to find out.
