We figure the grocery bill was about €200 all told, not counting what the others will bring.

Leftovers will provide for at least ten meals, if past experience is any indication, so figure about 27-30 meals for about $230. Considering the quality of the food, I don't think it's excessive. I have no clue what that would cost anywhere in North America, and I assume regional differences will be significant.
