especially in one of the "Death Squad" units ( which I have read this shooter was involved with, yet to be verified ) likely faces a death sentence if they are returned to Afghanistan ( or possibly even if a family member is returned to Afghanistan ).

We don't know yet, but as soon as I heard he was from Afghanistan, I wondered if he or a family member got a deportation notice from ICE.
