5. I got the feeling that he was defying the mother of the kids

It seemed that he wouldn't turn around because she asked him to. I keep thinking of how right wingers talk about sticking it to the libs. He wanted to stick it to the mother, regardless of whether it was in his best interest or his children's best interest.
Very emotionally immature.
