Benadryl is my go-to for allergies. I know some people have side effects but this is the only allergy pill I've tried that doesn't have any for me. I recently had work done in my home that created lots of dust. Just a few Benadryls over a couple of days got me through that. A couple of Benadryls and and aspirin cure a sinus headache in just half an hour. If they take this away, I'm going to be in a world of hurt even though I only take them now and then.

I hear it can make people drowsy so they use it for sleep. I've never heard of anyone using it

IDK if they applies to the next gen antihistamines like Claritin or Zyrtec or Xyzal (which is the gold standard) nt
