2. The statement actually leaves some wiggle-room, logically

If, for example, she happened to OD after taking drugs she got on "the street", the statement could be true.

It is CERTAINLY a lie to say that "Mexicans" were responsible for her addiction (which is one reading of his words, but not the only one). She already admitted she got hooked on opioids after starting on Rx'd pain pills, and then began stealing from hospitals where she worked, and then was eventually fired and lost her license. BUT she also said that did not stop her using. Ergo, it logically follows that it is possible (likely, in my experience) she was procuring drugs on the streets afterward.

These assholes are pretty good at CONVEYING lies without them being demonstrable, proven lies. They use weasel words like these ALL THE TIME
