(13,510 posts)69. My thoughts are that Rep. Jeffries was unanimously reelected House Minority Leader in November, 2024 by his peers.
This, after holding the job for the previous two years.
The House Democrats obviously don't think that he is ineffective. If they change their minds, they'll have a chance to vote for someone else in a little over a year.

Democrat as in have Jeffries primaried by another DEMOCRAT rather than a DEMOCRATIC candidate
