19. "Never" is how I and most of the world feel RIGHT NOW and it's perfectly justified. As was Israelis' feelings on Oct 7th

Why the same old refrain? "What about the hostages" is always said as a deflection from Israel's crimes which also completely denies who is responsible for the hostages not being returned.

THE HOSTAGES WOULD ALL HAVE BEEN HOME BY NOW WERE IT NOT FOR NETANYAHU'S OBSTRUCTION AND SABOTAGING OF ALL CEASEFIRE NEGOTIATIONS AND THE BREAKING OF THE LAST CEASEFIRE. Because cleansing Gaza of Palestinians and murdering as many as possible the meantime was more important to him than saving the lives of his own people.

You need to read up, all the information is out there, including confessions and accusations of sabotage against Netanyahu from Biden's own senior officials after the election. Hamas has wanted a ceasefire for eons, return the hostages but Netanyahu would not agree to their condition to withdraw from Gaza and end the war.

So the answer to your question is Netanyahu doesn't care if they are all dead or will be soon - they will be sacrificed by him for Israel's "greater good". Even many Israelis have caught on to that, I'm actually pretty shocked that there are still people here on DU who have not.

Hamas is responsible for its own crimes, but not Israel's. Hamas did not create Israel's genocidal nature. It was there since 1948.

Whitewashing Israel's genocide by pointing to the "instigator" does not work with me. There is no justifiable instigation possible for genocide, it is the crime of all crimes.

If one death is too many, you must be quite distraught at the likely (we will soon find out) 100,000 ++deaths of Palestinians. I went there too.
