No one talked of peace and forgiveness on October 7th as Israelis were being attacked and murdered. They would have been shamed and ridiculed for that kind of inhumane response. Precious lives were being lost.

The same compassion should be afforded to Palestinians but as we have clearly seen, their lives are just not as important or precious. So many horrific crimes, wanton destruction and terror on civilians but Israelis and defenders did not see anything wrong with it and still do not.

Forgiveness is not what Israelis seek from others, it is their mutual denial and complicity in the genocide and ethnic cleansing.

When that changes, we can talk about forgiveness.
