25. It's a gorgeous fall morning in Portland

Yesterday

The Cascade peaks are out in their glory. Kayakers enjoying the Willamette River. Families riding bicycles at Waterfront Park. Dozens of volunteers attacking ivy and blackberries in Mt. Tabor Park. Urban hikers on the 26 mile Wildwood Trail in Forest Park (in the city). Friends standing with their coffee on the sidewalk waiting for a table to open up at their favorite breakfast hangout. Food carts hustling to get burritos and crepes out the door. Fans gathering to watch the Ducks game or going downtown on light rail to see the Timbers.

Yeah...My city feels just like a war zone.

RESIST THE INVASION. MAKE GOOD TROUBLE....NON-VIOLENTLY!
