Wednesday

State Rep. Aftyn Behn, a Democrat representing Nashville, invited Dahron Johnson, an openly transgender chaplain, to deliver the opening prayer in the Tennessee House of Representatives on January 29, 2024. This event marked the first time in memory that an openly transgender person had prayed on the statehouse floor.

Like I said. Sensational.

Courageous, welcoming, inclusive, progressive.

But in TN-7 vulnerable for those qualities.
