Meanwhile, in Virginia: [View all]

Charlie Kirk's widow is speaking tonight at Virginia Tech University in Blacksburg VA.

Also speaking are:
-- Megyn Kelly. In case you don't remember her, she's the washed up Fox personality that was fired from NBC then from Fox. She now appears on a daily podcast on an obscure SiriusXM channel.
-- Glenn Youngkin, currently governor of Virginia. A failed Carlyle Group executive, Youngkin was fired from Carlyle for massively screwing up their China account. Carlyle generously gave him a $40 million tax-free pension. In 2021, he popped up out of nowhere, a huge fan of Trump, he ran for governor. The central point of his campaign was to accuse Virgiinia schools of making little white children ashamed of themselves by teaching "Critical Race Theory" (CRT). In spite of the fact that CRT is taught only in a few graduate law schools, enough MAGA voters fell for it to elect Youngkin. His term ends 12/31/2025 (VA governors are limited to one term, cannot succeed themselves). He is now campaigning for his failure of a Lt Gov, Winsome Earle-Sears. Their sole campaign issue against Democrat Abigal Spanberger is that "Spanberger wants boys in girls restrooms and she wants kids to be able to change gender without telling their parents."

I'm certain his appearance with Kirk's widow at VA Tech is intended to crank up the vote for Sears, who is trailing Spanberger by double digits.
