(21,673 posts)All he did today was make a complete ass of himself, live, in from of the entire world. If he wasn't a global laughingstock already, he is one now, after that deranged performance.
I'm sure he thinks he did great, and it's a safe bet his toadies have all been telling him how wonderful he was, but I don't believe for a moment that this has done him one bit of good. The rest of the world's leaders now know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that he's a complete idiot (if any of them hadn't already figured it out before this). Unfortunately, they probably also think the U.S. is a country full of idiots, for electing him once, much less a second time.
This would be humiliating for him, if he was capable of seeing past his narcissistic delusions, but I don't think that's ever going to happen. He can't afford to let go of those delusions for a millisecond, because he'd be forced to confront what a huge, gigantic, incompetent, stupid loser he is, and if he did that, his brain would (figuratively) explode.
So here we, the American people, sit, embarrassed af, while he basks in the praises of the sycophantic lickspittles he appointed to his cabinet.
