We aren't that lucky. He's going to be alive when his term ends. He will be a hot mess, of course, but alive, and still in control of the moron MAGA masses. There's 0.0 chance Trump (or the Trump family) gives up power and anoints JD his successor. What is more likely is that Trump will cancel the GOP primaries and name one of his sons as his successor, most likely Junior. The GOP rank and file will go along with it because they will still fear Trump's influence with MAGA idiots nationwide. JD will be compensated with an offer he can't refuse. People like Trump don't give up power until they are dead. They always fight to keep it at all costs. That's how I see the MAGA endgame.
