But it’s what they DO about it that matters. I hope they wake up and start facing the reality we all live in. But with this bunch, hard to tell.

First you have to admit you have a problem.

Btw, I had a good friend who went to AA meetings every week and really believed in them. He invited me to go to one with him and I did. BOY did I gain a whole new appreciation of the mountains some people have to climb! Never imagined. I’m not a drinker, so it just wasn’t my world. But it WAS a SERIOUSLY powerful experience. What an education!!! If anyone who doesn’t have an alcohol problem has a friend in recovery - who invites you to one of these meetings, DO IT! GO! Go SEE and LEARN and GAIN NEW WISDOM! HIGHLY recommended! The humanity and understanding, empathy and forgiveness, it’s all intensely there, all over the room. You’ll leave more thoughtful and less judgmental - AND more grateful when it’s over.
