My teacher and the other 2d grade teacher taught us songs 2:15-2:45 regularly.

Songs like Where Have All The Flowers Gone?, Blowing in the Wind, If I Had a Hammer, This Land Is Your Land, and more. Bob Dylan, Kingston Trio, Peter/Paul/Mary, Pete Seeger, Woodie Guthrie.

Does that make me "brainwashed" or a nascent progressive?

Screw you, Steve Bannon. My K-12 public education taught me how to be an informed and active American citizen.

Your dream of homeschooling children will result in a lot of rejection letters from Harvard, Yale, Columbia, Emory, Stanford, Duke, and more.
