General Discussion

According to a February 2025 survey from the Public Religion Research Institute, about two-thirds of Americans oppose Christian nationalism.

Their doublethink/newspeak has become so extreme (love is hate, hate is beautiful, patriots are radicals, empathy destroys, compassion is evil, the land of religious freedom is a Christian nationalist nation, censorship is free speech, peaceful opposition equals terroristic threats, and on and on) a surprising number of Americans who have long opted out might actually recognize they need to do some damn thing -- like vote -- to stop this insanity.

I'm making no predictions. Only time will tell. And in the meantime, we must keep on keeping on with pushing for more robust and effective opposition, connecting in our communities (however red), and supporting State Democratic Party Organizations to get going NOW to build what must be built if we're gonna have a presence EVERYWHERE as we go into 2028.
