Bill grew up poor to a single mother. He never forgot what that was like. And he could talk to people. He is probably the smartest person to ever be president. No one understood the issues like Bill. And he was/is amazing at explaining complex problems/ideas.

While Clinton could talk to poor white people and give them reason for hope, Trump can talk to poor white people and give them permission to hate others. He tells them it's not their fault. He encourages them to blame others.
