Part of the pathology with a guy like Musk is that no matter what he gets, it's never "enough."

That's why the "Trump Tax Cuts" (and I never call them that without mentioning they were Paul Ryan's Ayn Rand wet dream come true, Trump just signed them) offer a comparative PITTANCE to the net worth of guys like Musk, Zuckerberg, Thiel, Bezos...they shouldn't "want" those checks because they don't need them, but part of the thrill is knowing the money is being yanked away from poor and working class people.

So in terms of the data breach, I'm sure that when he saw what he'd actually broken into, he thought "I might want to come back for more of this later." Also, being a database, new records are added all the time.
