Just want to put it out there: The most intrusive government policies have occurred under Repub presidencies. [View all]

Let's get over the myth that Republicans fear government intrusion in their lives. The fact is that the most intrusive government programs and policies have occurred under Republican presidencies. Starting with the Patriot Act under George W Bush II. And what Trump has done with Elon Musk's Tech intrusive techniques just puts us square into Huxley and Orwellian territory.

So, what would make sense is if we turn the tables and remind Republican voters what life would be like once they let the genie out of the bottle. Let's ask them the question: Once Trump's methods create intrusive loopholes in government, how would they feel if a Democratic president began to selectively use it on them? And, forget about defending themselves with guns. At this rate, Pam Bondi and Trump would have already taken their guns.
