Memorial Day and the horror of 47: Where is the Celebration of the Four Freedoms? [View all]

This Memorial Day is so difficult. 47's face dominates the news.

This is a day to celebrate our commitment to the Four Freedoms. Perhaps there are events where the truth of the state of our nation is being told, but all I see in newsfeeds are MAGA/47 dominated "observances" that are horrifying to me.

All I can say is this: Our commitment to the four freedoms will not die

I refuse to believe that Americans of good will will allow 47 and the forces of tyranny to end our 75 year commitment to the four freedoms and commitment to the defense of allies that share those fundamental values.

AI summary:

According to available data, a vast majority of American families, likely exceeding 90%, would have a parent, grandparent, or great-grandparent who served in World War II, as over 16 million Americans served during the war, representing a significant portion of the population at the time.

Anyone defending (or worse, celebrating) the regime's destruction of the infrastructure through which our will is made manifest, attack on our allies, and embrace of war criminals and tyrants needs to be reminded that they are shitting all over the sacrifices of generations, and showing utter disdain for those in their own families who made those sacrifices.
