1) When the book came out and the dog story was revealed, Donald Trump Jr literally said, "How much does your ghost write have to hate you to include a story about you killing a dog?"

2) Her daughter was child when Kristi Noem killed her dog, but that now adult daughter has never defended what her mother did or even discussed it. Her daughter now has a job with the state that her mother got her when she was governor.
