I know my father rolled in his grave when they took over. He was a huge proponent of 'locally sourced'.

(All of our meats come from local farms. So did simple dairy and all veggies and fruits once summer hit. Hell, we made our own ice cream, made our own S'mores, our favorite drink was Kool-aid... always the base packets, never the sweetened or the ready made stuff. By the age of ten, a good percentage of us could have manned a grill in a diner. Heh.)
