General Discussion

Our laws, our structure, all those things that tie up movement and force slow change exist because mankind has always had ne'er-do-wells who want to be in charge. They never stop trying. They ferment ignorance and hate with the hopes of toppling light and democracy.

So we fight and fight and fight and for the history of our country, we have kept fascists at bay, for the most part, but they don't stop trying.

I guarantee you this, all this nastiness we are seeing is not new, it is simply out from under the rock it was hiding under.
Social media and trump have them a mouthpiece and a platform and they are using it.

But bad people surround themselves with bad people and usually they get so busy shivving each other in the back in their rat-king pile up, that they remove themselves from being a serious threat.

trump is just another rat king. He dreams of being a king, and he is one, of sorts... but rat kings and their ilk, twist around each other and take care of the problem themselves. They either chew off their tail and escape or they die in the tangle of desperate gnawing rats.

Not a pretty image but cancer can't exist without a host. A rat king can't exist without a tangle of other rats who want to be king.

Regardless of election, you will never be them, and you will take a deep breath and go back to fighting if America loses and they are elected.

And on that note, I probably just got put on trump's list of people he wants the army to take care of. Oh well, I'm on Putin's list too.
