Trump official issues insane attack on Trump's own voters - Another Day - Brian Tyler Cohen

BTC: Republicans wage a brand new war and it's against Donald Trump's greatest allies. This is just another day.

You know, when you're trying to sell an idea to the American people, there is nothing more important than branding. A catchy name can truly capture an audience and have them fall in love with frankly anything you want. Yep. Nothing more crucial than branding.

(cut to Stuart Varney show on Fox Business News)
Joni Ernst: I have an act. It's called the McScuse Me Act, which would disallow those SNAP benefits being used at fast food restaurants. Again, we want to make sure that those hungry families, those food insecure families actually are receiving benefits, but we want them to really use those dollars on nutrient rich foods. And you're not going to find those at fast food restaurants.

BTC: Yeah. McScuse me for saying this, but when it comes to your McCern for the health of people receiving taxpayer dollars, you are completely full of McShit. For some reason, when 42 million low-income Americans who rely on food assistance want to spend that money on one of the most affordable places to eat, it is a national tragedy. But when your guy does it...

(cut to Fox News clip of campaign stunt where Trump hands a bag out of a window at McDonalds)
Fox Host: You know, this this love of Donald Trump for McDonald's, it is not stage craft. It is indeed real. I've witnessed it.

(cut to WH award dinner for national champs)
Trump: We have pizzas. We have 300 hamburgers, many, many French fries.

(cut to Gutfeld show on Fox)
Greg Gutfeld: The media lost their lunch over this, enraged at Trump for serving food everyone on earth loves to eat.

(cut to another Fox program)
Jason Chaffetz: Hey, this is the happiest happy meal I've ever seen because not only did you get the media meltdown, but we're talking about McDonald's. Nobody likes McDonald's more than I do, except probably President Trump.

BTC: That is former Republican Congressman Jason Chaffetz, and he loves McDonald's. In fact, two minutes later, he was blowing Ronald. I gotta say this GOP approved menu for liberals is getting a bit confusing. They're not allowed to eat unhealthy food.

(cut to political rally)
Sen. John Kennedy: But also the these woke high IQ stupid people, they walk around they walk around with Ziploc bags of kale that they can eat to give them energy. And unlike some of the folks in Washington DC, I'm talking about the cultured cosmopolitan goats milk latte drinking avocado toast eating insiders elite.

BTC: Okay, first of all, avocado toast and a side of goat milk latte sounds pretty good to me. So, you can't have
McDonald's and fast food, but you also can't have vegetables and healthy food. Why do I get the sneaking suspicion that you just want people who don't agree with you to eat shit? But I'm mostly surprised to hear that the party of small government is totally cool with the government getting involved in their personal lives like this.

(cut to radio control room)
Glenn Beck: You might want to back off the sugar if you're on SNAP. Uh-oh. Uh that's the word we're getting. No sugary treats if you're on SNAP. But the argument is, and I agree with uh this is not good for you, we're going to cause more problems if we're giving these really high sugary, high fructose corn syrup stuff uh to the people who can't necessarily afford the medical care and the medical treatment and take care of yourself. Um that's adding that's just adding stupidity on stupidity.

BTC: Stupidity on stupidity. Kind of like if Eric was a twin. Okay, so conservative icon Glenn Beck feels it's okay for the government to get involved in what you eat and drink. Well, you know who's going to be really pissed
off about this? I think you know.

Glenn Beck: You're telling me that I don't have the common sense to stop drinking? If I wanted 18 ounces of soda, I'm just reckless. And I am so sick and tired of these politicians telling us who we are, telling us how to live. Take your 16 ounce soda, uh, uh, Mayor Bloomberg, and shove it up your ass.

BTC: You know, for someone so health conscious, I'm surprised he's unaware of how unhealthy and anus full
of soda can be. This anti-fast food crusade is just the latest move by conservatives in their war on the poor. Just recently, the head of the Agriculture Department, Brooke Rollins, said that the USDA would be withholding
federal funding for food assistance from states that refuse to provide the administration with the private data
about those recipients of SNAP benefits. And you will never guess which states are being hit hardest by this?

Brooke Rollins: 21 states, including California, New York, and Minnesota, the blue states, continue to say no. So, as of next week, we have begun and will begin to stop moving federal funds into those states until they comply. And they tell us and allow us to partner with them to root out this fraud and to protect the American taxpayer.

BTC: Yes, Brooke Rollins is really concerned with the names of people eating dinner. Unless, of course, it's a secret crypto dinner, then it's totally fine. Let's not forget that during the government shutdown when the most vulnerable in our society were set to lose their food assistance, people on the right had absolutely zero problem with their lack of well-being.

(cut to NewsMax Rob Schmitt program)
Rob Schmitt: I mean, this is a program that has exploded over the last 20 years. And we are just dumping a hundred billion a year into a program that we all know is being so woefully corrupted and exploited. People are selling their benefits. People are using them to get their nails done, to get their weaves and their hair. I mean, this is a this is a really ugly program.

BTC: So ugly. Everybody knows that if you're going to waste taxpayer dollars, pay for your own hair and nails and make the government pay for your private jet. I'm sorry if this sudden conservative concern over the health and livelihood of America's most vulnerable is just a little hard to swallow, considering these same benevolent Republicans did not give a shit when their party stripped 186 billion dollars out of food assistance and kicked 17 million Americans off of Medicaid just months ago in their landmark budget legislation. I actually believe Republican Senator Jonie Ernst had some specific words for those concerned with how many folks would die
as a result of their non-shit giving.

(cut to video)
Jonie Ernst: Well, we all are going to die.

BTC: Ah, yes. I'm surprised that Hallmark hasn't turned this into a card yet. But what's especially egregious is that
these same conservatives who clutch their pearls over the supposed taxpayer waste, fraud, and abuse happening at fast food drive-throughs across America did not give a shit when the leader of their party shook down the Justice Department for $230 million dollars in taxpayer funds. Or when that same guy decided to spend a billion dollars of taxpayer money to retrofit a Qatari jet. And they sure as hell didn't have a problem when the richest man on earth breezed into Washington for a few months so he could score wins for his companies by dismantling all of the agencies that were investigating or regulating him. So look, I'm not so naive to think that Americans shouldn't be eating healthier. We should. Probably my most radical position is that I think that fast food that Americans eat is borderline criminal. And some part of me thinks that we should legislate a ban on unhealthy food and additives and chemicals.

The problem is that the Republicans have no place lecturing anyone on that reality because they are the ones responsible for ushering in an era where working-class Americans can't afford anything else. We've all watched
as the GOP enabled and empowered Donald Trump to launch a trade war that sent the cost of food soaring despite explicitly campaigning on bringing down the cost of of uh oh that that old-timey verbiage always escapes me.

(cut to video)
Trump: Another word is just groceries. You know, it's sort of an old-fashioned word.

BTC: Yes. Yes, groceries. You cannot send the cost of food soaring, strip health care away, gut food assistance, enact the largest transfer of wealth from the poor to the rich in the history of America, and then sit there and lecture anyone about what they should feed themselves for dinner. But as we engage in yet another culture war where a bunch of wealthy elites try to scold the masses into avoiding food that those elites themselves enjoy, there's something important to remember. The reason Republicans so adore these culture wars, pitting working-class white people against working-class brown people, is because when those two groups battle it out, they're too distracted to see that the rich elites who instigated the whole thing are laughing their way to the bank. They're not America loving patriots concerned with the health of people eating trash. They are duplicitous, power- hungry elitists who just want to punish those they consider to be trash people. For some reason, when this administration has possibly committed war crimes by doing murder on the high seas, it's just excused as being

(cut to video)
Pete Hegseth: This is called the fog of war.

BTC: But God forbid some hungry people get caught up in the fog of hunger. So to all those conservatives instituting fast food rules that are good for thee but not for me, please, with all due respect, take your incredibly blatant hypocrisy and shove it up your ass.

while blaming others for the problems that said shithole/republicans do to them.

Just look recently at Tennessee, they had a chance to vote for a person that generally cares about Tennesseans.
