Trump's Ongoing Deadly Boat Strikes Remain ILLEGAL! - Glenn Kirschner
After ordering military strikes on boats in international waters, killing more than a dozen human beings, Donald Trump tells Congress that he's determined the United States is now in a war with drug cartels. Then, sounding like a 10-year-old boy playing soldier, Trump says that the US is in "armed conflict" with "suspected (drug) smugglers" who are "unlawful combatants."
You see what Trump's trying to do here: he's spewing out a bunch of buzz words and catchphrases trying to defend, excuse, and retroactively justify . . . murder. But he can't.
Once again, I turned to Dan Maurer for his expert analysis. Dan is a law professor and military law expert who has taught constitutional law and criminal law at West Point. He's a retired Army JAG officer, and he's a true expert on things like the law of war and the rules of engagement .
Dan explains why, regardless of what buzz words tumble out of Donald Trump's mouth, murder is murder. - Glenn Kirschner - 10/09/2025.
