Reagan-Appointed Judge "Excoriates" Trump, Ruling He Violated Students' Free Speech Rights - Glenn Kirschner
In a scathing, 161-page opinion, Reagan-appointed Judge William Young ruled that Tump administration officials - specifically Kristi Noel and Marco Rubio - "deliberately and with purposeful aforethought, did so concert their actions . . . to chill the rights to freedom of speech and peacefully to assemble of the non-citizen plaintiff members and of the plaintiff associations."
As Politico reported: "Judge excoriates Trump in blistering decision calling efforts to deport pro-Palestinian academic illegal."
What is perhaps the most remarkable part of the 161-page ruling is that Judge Young spends the final dozen pages cataloguing Trump's illegality and bad behavior, in a section titled "Justice in the Trump Era." Sections of his opinion are labeled, "He ignores everything", "he keeps bullying ahead", and "Retribution."
