Why? Kirk is someone who has actively hurt people, large swaths of the population and fed hate. Someone who promotes policies that literally KILL our young women and girls as they lay in hospital beds withering in pain, being denied a medical procedure, left to die. A man that says empathy is sickness to a party that is empathy forefront. Repub actually using the word empathy as a political weapon to mock Dems. Why? Why are people insisting, demanding, accusing people feel sad or empathy. No one is celebrating so quit assigning that to us. No one knows who did it or why, so quit feeding the rage toward a party. All the way up to the president. And once again, a party lacking any knowledge, any information out there assigning shit to the left with no information available. BIG difference between celebrating a death and not caring about a death because of all the hate and pain caused by that life. The right is demanding victims to have empathy for the death of a man whose job was to hurt them. A true reap what you sow, found in the bible.

The far Right has always championed toxic political incorrectness as a badge of honor while denigrating "wokeness" of the Left as if to be asleep and ignorance were bliss. Now they want to martyr Kirk as the paragon of free speech for having shouted FIRE in a crowded theater. Matthew Dowd was fired from MSNBC for reporting the truth about stochastic terrorism and used this current example of it as this fatal shooting became the latest expression of it. He did nothing wrong but this network tries to mollify those that agree with Kirk's right to use hate speech must be seen as beyond reproach. So instead, management symbolically shoots the messenger because their wealthy shareholders and PR hacks demand action, however unjustified. Who's next, Rachel Maddow, Lawrence O'Donnell?
