David Letterman Was DISGUSTED When Trump Showed His True Character

In a resurfaced interview with David Letterman from the early 90s, Donald Trump tried to justify allowing Mike Tyson to fight again at his casino just after he was convicted of rape, arguing that Tyson would be better off fighting for charity to rehab his image instead of spending time in prison, all while Trump would financially benefit from the scheme. Rick Strom breaks it down. Give us your thoughts in the comments below!

Politics, or lived in New York.

Certainly all the candidates running for president in 2016 knew, certainly they all knew how much of a nightmare this piece of shit could be.

I am a big fan of David Letterman and I believe he’s been careful to respond but this is good that he’s responding.

Unfortunately not everybody on the left understood or even apparently cared about the absolute fucking disaster it would be if we did anything to dampen the spirit of potential voters, unfortunately so many saw, incorrectly obviously, that there was really no choice in 2016.

anyone. The Press after all is supposed to be the vaunted "fourth estate;" the watchdogs for democracy and they have the resources to do so.

They deliberately deceived the American People by promoting an oligarch as a "populist" because they knew the nation was more than ready for serious fundamental reform. That while it might provide universal health care, free higher education, a livable wage and a host of other much needed reforms would cost their owners higher taxes.

They were successful because there wasn't enough perceived daylight between the major parties nominee's positions on the critical issues that have been affecting their lives for over a quarter century.

I believe everyone on the left including the candidates knew exactly what *rump was, but not the average American, and that's who Bernie was speaking to 2016 and is speaking to in West Virginia and North Carolina on the "fighting oligarchy tour" now.

Trying to meet this "absolute disaster" along with the political party that enabled, and still enable him in some mythical middle was the fundamental flaw which brought *rump to power.

Even then it was obvious he was a gaping asshole, and Trump has been trading on that "brand" for his entire career. Everything we now know about Trump, the NY media knew decades ago.
