Trump goes off the rails with bizarre behavior - Another Day - Brian Tyler Cohen

looking down on the American people in a
figurative manner and wanted to do it
literally. This is just another day.
Today, the president of the United
States took avoiding responsibility to
an actual whole new level.

Finally, the Broadway remake we've been
waiting for. Unfortunately, the
performance of If I Were a Rich Man
takes on a whole new meaning in this
one. But continuing his long-held
tradition of pretending he's part of the
actual construction team, this morning,
Donald Trump decided that since there
weren't any other pressing matters to
attend to, why not stroll the White
House roof and put in his two cents on
how this unnecessary ballroom renovation
should go? And if you look closely, you
can see why they call this man an expert
builder.
Are you going to build up
What does that mean?
Yeah. What does this mean? Is this his
genius proposal for the ballroom
structure? Cuz I'm getting more of a
yurt vibe from that movement. Or maybe
he's describing how much of the Epstein
files he's still refusing to release. Or
maybe it's just how much of the economy
he's tanking. You know, like all of it.
Tell you what, I'll let him describe
what he's doing up there.
It's just another way to spend my money
for the country. Yeah, I think the
elevation may have gotten into Trump's
head because he never spends his money
on anything. He's used his campaign
funds to pay his legal bills. He's used
money that was supposed to go to
veterans to pay his staff. And he's
using the entire office of the
presidency to promote his golf courses
and crypto dinners. A point I'm sure Fox
News was quick to point out.
And I was just standing down there
looking up like, "My wife doesn't like
it when I go up on the roof. I wonder
what the first lady get from thinks
about this." What does the first lady
think about this? I'm surprised she
wasn't up there with a giant fan.
Nothing like a quick fall off the roof
to teach her husband about umbrella
sharing. But despite what you may think,
Trump didn't spend his entire day lying
about financials and avoiding
responsibility on a rooftop. He made
some time to do that on CNBC, too.
Unemployment rate is still low. It's
42%.
That's
fine. And the terrorist I will say this,
the numbers before the election were
earthshattering. My god, I haven't seen
someone put in that much effort to deny
knowing about numbers since Matt Gates
claimed he had no idea he was at a high
school prom. Yep. Donald Trump is
working so hard to justify firing the
head of the Bureau of Labor Statistics
after she had the audacity to publish
the terrible yet completely factual jobs
report last week. I mean, could you
imagine what this president could
accomplish if he didn't spend every hour
of every day lying his face off? He
might figure out a way to provide free
IVF instead of simply breaking a
campaign promise. He could let the world
know how uninvolved he was with his
child molesting spa pal. Or maybe he
could make just the tiniest bit of
headway into that war he promised to end
on day one. But nope, rather than point
himself in the direction of solutions,
this president prefers to point fingers.
Even if a ceasefire doesn't work out,
why should Americans continue to fund a
foreign military that's scraping the
bottom of the barrel of its population
like this? Well, you have to understand
very importantly, this is Biden's war.
This is not my war. I'm here to get us
out of it. It's a mess. But, uh, this is
Biden's war.
Mr. President, do you support the
Justice Department seeking a new
interview with Elaine Maxwell? And did
you urge the attorney general to seek
one?
I don't know anything about it. I didn't
know that they were going to do it. I I
don't really follow that too much. It's
a sort of a witch hunt. Just a
continuation of the witch hunt. The
witch hunt that you should be talking
about is they caught President Obama.
absolutely cold. Tulsi Gabbard uh what
they did to this country in 2016
starting in 2016, but going up all the
way going up to 2020 of the election,
they tried to rig the election. I think
the good parts of the Trump economy and
the bad parts of the Biden economy
because he's done a terrible job. He did
a terrible job on everything.
Wait a minute. Maybe that's what this
gesture was all about. Trump was
describing the size of his abdication of
responsibility. I have said this before,
but it bears repeating. If you are a
Trump supporter or even an independent,
this man lied to you to get your vote. I
mean, Donald Trump lies so much even his
jokey throwaway lies feel authentic.

Can I say Can I say that I won them
athletically?
Yes, sir.
Look, that is the most innocuous quip
that every uncle in the world would
make. But coming from Trump, you know
that one day he's going to claim he won
golden weightlifting. This guy can't not
lie. Donald Trump made promise after
promise at rallies all across the
country that he would lower everybody's
taxes, give Americans greater access to
health care, and make goods more
affordable. But like an unfunny and much
more detrimental version of George
Castanza, Trump has done the opposite.
Trump gave a tax cut to billionaires,
kicked 17 million Americans off
Medicaid, strip food assistance away to
the tune of $300 billion, and his
tariffs are driving up the cost of
goods. We are living in a new guilded
age. And all the while, the person at
the helm ran as a populist. Trump does
not respect you because if he did, he
wouldn't be relishing in the media
frenzy that comes from a president
scouting where to break ground on a
lavish, opulent, and wholly unnecessary
ballroom. Even the Beatles are like, "We
were about to break up. What's your
excuse?" Just think about this. Donald
Trump does not have to be up there. He
is choosing to because that's what he'd
rather be doing than leveling with the
American people. Because up on the roof,
he can avoid the things he hates most.
Okay, the thing he hates second most,
facts.
We're doing so well. I believe the
numbers were phony, just like they were
before the election. And there were
other times. So, you know what I did? I
fired her.
Do you see? When faced with the facts
that his policies are crippling our
economy, this president decided to shoot
the messenger. Donald Trump fears the
truth more than RFK fears an E.coli free
swimming pool. And even worse, there is
an entire Republican party that's
decided that this whole three branches
of government thing is a little played
out. Republicans in Congress have veto
power. And yet they have watched every
move by this administration. Every
broken promise, every defiance of the
courts, every assault on American
rights, and decided to either look the
other way or even worse, endorse it
wholeheartedly. And why? because they
care more about getting approval from
one person, dear leader, than they do
about 350 million of you. This is a
party being led by a convicted felon and
notorious grifter. And instead of
standing up and speaking out on your
defense, they have decided to fall in
line while you suffer. If you're looking
for an indicator on how little Donald
Trump and Republicans care about you,
I'd say it's about this much.
