"Mid-level MAGA media voices have melted down over the attention paid to Stephen Colbert’s final episode of The Late Show.

Colbert wound up his 11-year-run on the CBS late-night show on Thursday night, after the network controversially axed the long-running program last July.

The cancellation came just three days after Colbert, 62, slammed the network’s MAGA-friendly parent company, Paramount, for its $16 million settlement with Trump."

I know he’ll be gone at some point. Gone and NOT coming back, period. And I’m just gonna watch and wait.

And I will keep tabs on the news, because that will let me know when to pop the champagne cork.

I’m not a drinker. Neither is my husband. But I can see us toasting with champagne in a couple of really nice goblets, to commemorate the occasion. One glass for each of us will be fine. We tend not to go overboard. And we won’t change that, even for this.
